Two More Indictments In Ongoing Probe into June 17th Slaying of Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro
September 27, 2013
District Attorney Sam Sutter announced that a Bristol County Grand Jury indicted Shayana Jenkins and Tanya Singleton in connection to the ongoing investigation into the June 17th homicide of Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro.
The grand jury has voted to indict Ms. Jenkins, 24, of North Attleboro, on a single charge of perjury.
The grand jury also voted to indict Ms. Singleton, 37, of Bristol, CT., on a charge of Conspiracy to Commit Accessory After the Fact.
The new indictment against Ms. Singleton comes in addition to an indictment announced last month, charging her with criminal contempt.
Fall River Superior Court arraignment dates have yet to be set for either defendant. Once formal arraignment dates have been set, this office will send out information regarding those dates.
Ms. Singleton is due in Fall River Superior Court for a status hearing on her pending contempt charge on Monday, and it is possible she could also be arraigned on the new indictment at that time.
As the investigation into the slaying of Mr. Lloyd remains active and ongoing, no further comment on the new indictments can be made at this time.
